Vodafone Travel is your own UK line working abroad, and on the rows about receiving codes and calls that is a strength: everything already points at your number. The limits are who can buy it, where it works, and what £2 a day adds up to over a longer stay.
Travellers who are not Vodafone UK customers, trips outside the covered zones, stays long enough for £2 a day to compound, and anyone who needs a local number in the destination rather than a UK one: for a landlord, a delivery, a ride-hailing app, or a bank that will not send an SMS abroad. For a two-week trip inside Zone A, roaming on an existing contract is often cheaper and simpler than anything on this list. You keep your own number, and nothing needs setting up.
